Lab 0 Website.
The following website covers the requirements for Lab 0 for the ENGO 551 submission. It includes sections covering my interests for taking part in the ENGO 551 course, some personal fun-facts, a brief portfolio, and a contact form. I hope you enjoy!
My Interests. For Taking 551.
Data is everywhere! From sensors to multimedia and more, every piece of data is created in a location. Processing and interpreting the relationships between these data can unravel new insights and interesting connections. Therefore, I am interested in taking ENGO 551 to better understand how to find these connections between all data.
What I Know. What Experiences I Have.
Throughout my undergraduate in Geomatics Engineering, I have learned the fundamentals of Geospatial Analysis. This has provided me with a solid foundation in programming, analysis and more. I have also been fortunate to gain experience in internet of things (IoT) sensors through applications in Smart Cities.
What I Believe. Where is it Applied.
With the amount of data created globally increasing every year, there is also an increasing difficulty in interpreting this data. Geospatial analysis provides a necessary set of tools to help interpret this data. Additionally, with augmented reality experiencing a resurgence, tools for localization and presentation of relevant data could become valuable.
